After a long interlude (Revelation 12–14), we now see the third set of sevens (cf. 1) 7 seals: 6:1–7:17; 8:1–6; 2) 7 trumpets: 8:2–9:21; 11:14–19): and now 3) 7 bowls (cf. 15:1–16:21). Who does John see in this passage? Why are they praising God? What’s in the seven bowls that the four living creatures give to the seven angels—and why?
