IN THIS LESSON

Is Jesus something we “wear”? It might sound odd, but that’s exactly what Paul writes: “Put on the Lord Jesus” (v. 14). What does that mean? Earlier, he also says, “The hour has come for you to wake up from sleep” (v. 11). What kind of sleep is he talking about? What time are we living in—and how should we live as Christians who believe the age to come has already begun with Jesus’ resurrection? What kind of love does Paul call us to? And how is Christian love different from lust?
