Romans Chapter 14
IN THIS LESSON
People have different ideas, even differing moral standards. As a result, we often condemn others who act contrary to us. Paul famously writes here: “Whether we live or whether we die, we belong to the Lord” (v. 8). What does that mean? He forbids condemning fellow Christians (v. 10). Does that mean we can do whatever we want, simply because we believe we’re right? Is Paul a moral relativist? What, then, is Paul’s (and God’s) solution?
