Romans Chapter 15
IN THIS LESSON
In this passage, Paul reveals new information—his destination: Spain. But why Spain, all of a sudden? What is the “offering of the nations” (v. 16)? What is the driving desire—if not ambition—behind Paul’s mission and work? If his ultimate destination is Spain, why does he plan to stop in Rome first? What does it mean to be “refreshed by you” (v. 24)? And if Paul never actually made it to Spain, does that make his letter to the Romans an “epic fail”?
