Have you ever tripped and fallen—physically or symbolically? How? Paul, borrowing from Isaiah, speaks of a cornerstone that causes people to stumble. What or who is this cornerstone? Why has something meant to be good become a stumbling block? Paul also declares in Romans 10:4, “Christ is the end of the law.” What does that mean? How is Christ the fulfillment of the law?
